Carol is the Director of Adlington Law, specialising in representing borrowers in equity release transactions. This work is complimented by the inhouse Private client team.

With over 25 years’ experience in the legal industry, Carol conceived Adlington Law as a firm providing straightforward and clear advice in a friendly and approachable manner, with a strong emphasis on customer care, efficiency and professionalism, all delivered with a smile. Carol’s ethos is that both staff and clients alike should feel part of the Adlington Law family. This approach has led to Carol and the Adlington Law team receiving many nominations for Industry and Service Awards in recent years.

Carol wants advisors, clients and lenders to trust the advice and service Adlington Law provides, safe in the knowledge that we always have their best interests at heart, demonstrated by Carol’s very ‘hands on’ approach to complex cases and by the ease by which advisors are able to contact her for her advice and guidance on more complicated issues both prior to and post offer.

The client experience is very important to Carol and she is passionate about ensuring our industry offers the best advice and protection that can be afforded to our clients, to maintain and enhance its standards and reputation. This was a major contributing factor in Carol joining the ERC Legal forum to work alongside her industry colleagues to ensure that solicitors involved in equity release achieve the standards and level of service needed for equity release to be a respected and valued part of the lending market.
